Welcome to Wiley Post Airport, a haven for business, corporate and general aviation air travelers. One of three airports owned and operated by the Oklahoma City Department of Airports, Wiley Post is designated as a reliever for Will Rogers World Airport. Wiley Post airport is located at 5915 Phillip J. Rhoads Ave. in Bethany, Oklahoma, which is between 50th and 63rd Street on Rockwell. For more detailed directions click here.

Wiley Post hosts a full-service control tower that operates daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It has both parallel and crosswind runways. The longest is 7,200 feet by 150 feet, with a precision ILS approach. Its parallel has recently been extended to 5,000 feet.

Our terminal is home to Annie Okie's Runway Café, known far and wide for its scenic outlook on aircraft operations and its excellent breakfasts and lunches.

Armed Forces Day
This tribute to our uniformed services has been held each May at Wiley Post for the past three years. Displays of World War II aircraft highlight the event. Last year, rides in a Beech 19 airplane were offered for a nominal fee. Open to the public at no charge, it is sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force Oklahoma Wing, which uses the event to sell aviation-related items.

Okie Derby
Wiley Post Airport has hosted the Derby annually in August for many years. The event is an aircraft race from Wiley Post to various checkpoints around the state and back to Wiley Post. But it’s not about speed alone. It challenges the pilots’ accuracy in predicting fuel burn and estimating their time of arrival at each check point.
